This Dham is famous in the country and abroad for the divinity of self-manifested Shri Hanuman Ji — Balaji Maharaj. It is the holy land of ascetics, where devotees receive the grace and blessings of Balaji Maharaj by merely visiting him.
Here, devotees convey their problems to Balaji Maharaj through applications, which are resolved under the divine Peethadheeswar of Pujya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Ji Maharaj — known to the entire world as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar.
The philosophy, mission, teachings and service of Pujya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Ji Maharaj.

Shri Bageshwar Dham Sarkar's (Dhirendra Krishna Shastri) philosophy primarily focuses on Sanatan Dharma, devotion to Hanuman, and self-improvement. He promotes positivity, morality, and patriotism at both individual and societal levels to establish 'Ram Rajya' (the ideal kingdom of Lord Rama), emphasizing self-improvement and advising devotees to refrain from immoral conduct, meat consumption, and alcohol.

Guruji's sacred objective is to unite the Hindu community, eliminate caste and class discrimination, and establish unity among all followers of Sanatana Dharma. According to Guruji's vision, the time has come for every follower of Sanatana Dharma to raise their hands and roar like a lion, stepping forward to protect their religion and culture. Guruji firmly believes that Hindu unity will make India a Hindu nation (Hindu Rashtra), and this collective strength will once again make India a world leader (Vishva Guru).

Guruji's teachings are centred on truth, equality, selfless service, and devotion to God, inspiring us to live with love and respect for all, to earn an honest living and dedicate a significant portion of it to charity, while staying away from vices such as ego, anger, greed, attachment, and lust. This allows us to progress spiritually and maintain a balance between our worldly duties and our obligations to God.

Guruji's life is dedicated to Bageshwar Balaji. He uses his divine powers, which he received from his spiritual master (Dada Guru Ji), to alleviate people's physical, mental, financial, and social suffering. The donations received at the shrine are used for the expansion of the temple, as well as for public welfare activities such as arranging marriages for girls, treating illnesses, and running a community kitchen (Annapurna Bhandara).
